I've heard a lot of stories on this but until we experience anything, our mind will not accept the same..

Being positive in all situations will not come without proper practice. But why?? what does it gonna give even the situations aren't under our control. I've experienced a lot on this. There are lots of theories that suggest, being positive can even create situations favorable to us !!!! really!??

There is a proverb in tamil-"எண்ணம் போல் வாழ்கை"

Which means "Life as intended"

Let's approach this scientifically, research proves that our thoughts & emotions has the capacity to emit certain vibrational frequencies which makes some changes in the body, even it directly impacts the behavior. In an average, human brain come across over 60,000 thoughts per day. Paying attention to all of those may be a tedious task. But understanding how thoughts are created, it's impact on us, and finally finding the way to optimize it to make that work for us is what we're gonna discuss now.

Thinking Vs Thoughts

Do you know the difference between a thought and a thinking? For sure, both aren't same. Thinking is nothing but we are using our conscious mind to analyze, investigate, plan, foresee things explicitly. Whereas, thoughts are auto created, but how? here comes a magical object called "a belief system". The human brain will create, push thoughts based on your beliefs. If you believe, you can't crack the interview, your brain will create scenarios based on that. If you believe, a bank may go bankrupt, you will get a negative thoughts related to that and you'll even end up in closing the saving accounts you had. Because our belief system is directly connected to our subconscious mind, due to which our mind brings similar thoughts, correlated to our believes.

- Thoughts are from subconscious mind and Thinking is from conscious mind

How our brain works?

It has the tendency to give weight to negative experiences more than a positive one. Experts refer this as negative bias. They further added that, "Our brains are wired to scout for the bad stuff". Brain is actually an alert system making us to be prepared for handling the situations which we didn't expect by giving what if scenarios. But paying too much attention to those "what ifs ?" might lead to have disturbed and depressed mind. Brain is one of the precious gifts nature has given us. The entire mechanism operates based on our belief system. Our brain was designed in such a way that whatever we hear, we see, will be directly stored in our subconscious mind. That's why it is important to filter the information that we come across. Let's say, there are two children, they grown up in different environments, one in highly optimistic & encouraging and another child in a toxic and criticizing environment. There will be a drastic difference in their behaviors like an old Dr. MGR Films😉(Two MGR will be there but grown up in different family and culture). The way they handle the challenges, their vision, decision making style, basic characters, everything will have a distinguishable characteristics. This is because their subconscious mind got trained to the surroundings and started behaving in line with that. The friends we hang out with, the news we hear, the movie we watch, the content we consume will be directly hitting our subconscious mind and it will create thoughts based on that. A survey says, people who spend more time in social media are affected psychologically and end up in depression because the posts they see might alter their brain and makes them to believe that in comparison with others they aren't good in looks, career, money, etc.. That's how our belief system stores those information. Thus it is equally important to monitor the information that we consume subconsciously.

Precisely, "we are the average of our surroundings" So, our environment is greatly impacting our character!!

How our perception becomes reality

There is another theory called "The Law of attraction" and it was used as a core in the book called "The Secret" written by Rhonda Byrne. The book claims that the universe was designed in such a way that our thoughts will travel in certain vibrational frequency and attracts the situation that resonates the exact same frequency. As we discussed, the thoughts are based on our beliefs so, if we believe we can buy a new car, our thoughts will roam around that, thus we emit certain frequencies. Suddenly we will get some recommendation on the same car may be from our co-workers, we might start noticing the same car multiple times on the road, etc.. This clearly says, when we start focusing on one thing, our energy flows towards that so, our conscious mind will pay attention to those.

It further added, we attract the situations based on what we resonate. If we are happy, we emit some frequencies and it again attracts the situations that has the exact frequency. It applies to all other moods as well. The more we are happy, the more we attract the same, it's a kind of loop!! So let's be in a joyful mood to attract the same.

What you emit, you attract!!

Some might think the reliability of this, I agree!!

But have you ever thought? is the god you pray can understand your language? Not sure how many of you have faith in god but I don't want to enter into that but what I believe is,

it's all about our "Visualization".

If we need a travel visa, we visualize like we are getting it so, we emit a frequency as same as we've got that, by then attracting the same into reality.

If you can see it in your mind, you can have it in your hands

The mood and its frequency level:

We can even ignore all these theories but remember, being positive will have a greater impact in human health. Though it is difficult to stay in a positive mode all the time, but if we does, it has N number of benefits out of it.

Thanks,

Sree
